Little C: What Should I be Watching?

No really, I need your help.

As I recover from my first ever Comic-Con experience and slide back into real life, I've noticed something on the various streaming services that our household subscribes to. I have perhaps a dozen TV shows that I have been meaning to watch for years, and can't bring myself to get in to. Sometimes it's a lack of motivation, sometimes it's because I get distracted. Most of the time it's because I am trying to juggle 12 other shows plus movies and writing. Oh and my day job I guess. But more often than not it's so much easier to, for instance, comfortably returning to shows like the X-files and waste several days mouthing along to the witty banter of Scully and Mulder than risk becoming attached to anything new.

But no more. I've made a vow to work my way through a few new shows. But I want some input, so that I can avoid the tragic and crushing disappointment that comes with sinking weeks of my life into a story only to have it betray me. So I'm going to encourage the outspoken readers to give me their honest opinions.

Vikings

I've started this pilot several times and I can't get into it, but all my friends at work love this one. And on paper with the whole "historical drama with bad-ass female who gets stabby" angle, I'm thinking I need to suck it up and get caught up before the new season starts.

Happy Endings

If I had a nickle for every friend who told me to watch this while it was on... Okay realistically I'd barely be able to get a cheap coffee. But I missed the boat on this one and then when it got cancelled I gave myself the excuse that I didn't want to love it and have it taken away. But now I have people threatening to end our friendship over this show... So I'm probably giving in.

The Good Wife
Okay, so this one is CT's big obsession. I have no excuse for not watching this as it's available on multiple streaming platforms AND has Human-Perfection Alan Cumming. For being so behind on this show, I have brought dishonor on my house. I promise to fix that soon.

12 Monkeys
Okay, I blew this show off because it looked like a cheesy knock off of the movie. And then every serious scifi geek on the planet lost their collective minds over the first season. And I do love me some time travel TV. So I guess that means I'm on board.

Teen Wolf
Got to be honest with you guys, typing this into google to find the picture hurt my heart a little. But the fan presence for this show is strong and... I don't want to say rabid because that seems a little on the nose... Anyway this is the one I'm most on the fence about, so feel free to talk me out of this one.

If I've missed any big ones, let me know and I will add them to the list.

Happy watching,
Little C
