Little C: The Storm is Coming (so enjoy the calm)

Readers as we settle firmly into March and the rest of the country starts to rise to the temperature that LA is at year round, one of life's natural lulls has set in. No big premieres are happening in entertainment, we are still a month away from Baseball season (the only real sport, sorry Lacross) and the political scene is scary enough that you can only really check in on it for a few minutes at a time before you start to feel sick to your stomach.

As soon as you pass college and Spring Break stops being a thing, this time of year becomes a slog. It's not really summer yet, but the last real break from life ended at New Years and part of your brain starts to mentally pack up like it wants to go take a trip to Vegas. Or at least that's how my brain works. And I don't even like Vegas that much. My point is we all need a little down time to recharge and since we don't live in Italy with their 2 months of guaranteed vacay a year... CT and I have to figure out how to recharge while still going to work all the hours that we're scheduled for so we don't end up not being able to support our cats. 

As dictators go, at least he's cute

See, summer is coming and the next few months we have a whole laundry list of things that are about to happen for us. Not you know, the relaxing week on the southern coast of England like I asked for, but exciting stuff none the less. Speaking of which, my good buddy Bailey will be visiting starting on Saturday, so while I hate to go I have laundry to do and a floor to vaccum...
