Little C: We Are Published Writers!! (Or We've Adopted a Chinchilla. Hard to tell)

Readers, something very exciting has happened. CT and I have been given an opportunity to write a serialized fiction piece for a new website called Channillo. Basically Christy and I are writing a book, one chapter at a time. It's a cool way of writing something, and a little complex in planning. It's a throw back to how Arthur Conan Doyle and Dickens used to write so we're thrilled at the chance to be not quite as good as either of them, but include way more ghosts and zombies than either of them. And Dickens loved a good ghost story.

This was his preferred way of doing his editing

On a serious note, this is a really cool concept for a website and we are thrilled to be a part of it. Chapters will be going up every other week, hopefully on the Monday or Tuesday. We will keep you posted. Our series is called "Field Reports: Department for Paranormal Investigations". You have to subscribe to Channillo in order to read it (Except you, Mom. We can just email you our chapters) but a subscription is only $5 a month and you get to subscribe to 10 different series. You can find our series here. We would love to have any of you subscribe to our story. Okay, enough pushing. Let me explain what the story is actually about.

It's our first book cover!!!!

Christy and I threw an extra complication into the whole process and we are each writing from one characters perspective, and alternating chapters. The story is about two rival field agents for the Department for Paranormal Investigations (DPI for short). The agents are working two towns apart in rural Idaho and realize that their cases are connected, and they have to figure out how to work together in order to stop whatever is terrorizing these little towns. My chapters will be from the perspective of Frank Bassi, who I'm really enjoying as a character mostly because he's kind of a pain in the ass. Christy's chapters will be about Liz Rivers who I can't tell you much about because Christy hasn't let me see what she's written so far yet. I can tell you that we figured out where the story ends and I'm very excited for the journey there.

Thanks for reading my extended rant. Happy reading, and happy writing everyone!
Little C
