Little C: Just Don't Quote "The Jerk" On The Red Carpet

Readers, we are now five days removed from the premiere of our FIRST MOVIE OMG IT HAPPENED. Sorry. I told myself I could be chill about this and I lied... Anyways let's get the shameless self-promotion out of the way up front. School Spirits (which we wrote. Did we mention that? Because we did. Write it) is available now on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. We would love for you to watch it. Last Friday was the big premiere in a big fancy theater with the full red carpet.

And by red carpet we mean that we had to walk in front of one of those big backdrops while a million flashes went off and tried not to look like we were terrified. And then we had to give three interviews which largely consisted of the same questions but still managed to have us trying to remember how to speak English. I'd like to take this moment to give a HUGE shout out to our friend Danielle who very patiently held our hands through that process. We would have had America's Sweetheart level meltdowns without you. We owe you our first born and probably a pony. Please send us a baked good recipe of your choice as we have neither a child nor a horse to give you at this time.

Here's what was so cool about this experience; we got to take our big sister and our friends who supported us during the writing/filming of the movie to a theater and say "Look what we helped make!" It felt like we finally had a tangible result to show off. That's not always the case because as any writer will tell you even if you spend months writing something you don't always have anything to show for it. So sitting next to the people we love while the characters on the screen said things that we came up with... Okay I started crying almost immediately and then it became a sort of out of body experience and I didn't really start having "feelings" again until the credits rolled. I assume it went great.

Mostly we wanted to take a moment to gush. We wrote a movie about three girls who are interested in the paranormal and science and sports. They are awkward and complicated and real. And somehow the movie got funded and made with all of that plus the creepy haunted carnival we've always wanted to be afraid of. We are super proud of this film and so happy that it's out in the world. Plus it's a horror comedy, so it fits nicely into the lighter side of your Halloween viewing.

Thanks to everyone that has supported us through this crazy process. We love every single one of you.
Little C
